A new format will be implemented for the 2012 competition. The contest will consist of only one round and each competitor will execute three dunks. Fan voting will open after all four players have completed their first dunk. Previously, the Sprite Slam Dunk contest consisted of two rounds, with the first round scored by a panel of judges which determined two finalists.
Chase Budinger
Budinger is more of a balls out, straight for the rim, game dunker. Some nice dunks in the HS dunk contest, but I don't think he is really athletic enough to be very impressive after last year. He'll probably be creative though.

Paul George
He's going to get screwed over. Too tall to make some of his dunks look impressive. He'll need to be gimmicky to get past the Lin and Rubio factors.

Derrick Williams
Same height as Paul George, so "basic" dunks aren't going to cut it. He'll be getting lobs and setups from Rubio probably, so look for that. My pick to win.
