NBA TV

So I just looked at the NBA TV sight, to find out that it costs $245AUD for the season. Am I mistaken, or was it something around $120 last year?
$245 is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS...

I've no idea what it was in the past, though it does seem to have gone up from what other people have said. Considering that it's a shortened season, that's pathetic.

On the other hand, it's free for the first couple of weeks, which is nice. Particularly given that we get none of the Christmas Day games, by the look of it.

Now quantity is down, how could they guarantee quality then?
With the logjam of teams like Miami, LA Clippers yes those are great but how about other teams who crumpled?
I am talking about the quality of the NBA as a whole league 29 teams, not the upper 6-8 teams

Quality is going to go down with 66 games in 120 days. Now what?

They could still be on Foxtel. Just checked the online listings and the first game scheduled to be shown here is on the 29th, but the game isn't listed on the new schedule so I'm guessing it's an old listing from the original schedule. Fingers crossed for the Christmas Day games on ESPN Australia come Boxing Day, but the current lack of listings is eroding my optimism somewhat.

I can get my 5 teams or whatever for $100 as a returning customer. I don't like it. This is the first year that AT&T Uverse will be offering NBA League pass, though. I'm going to see if anyone wants to chip in on it.

Glad NBA TV comes with Comcast. Get to watch the Central Division powerhouse Pistons and Cavs duke it out in a half hour!

firstrowsports has all the preseason games. I'm going to watch 76ers-Wizards. Maybe catch some of Bulls-Pacers too.
