hey canada's out of the tournament eh? lost to puerto rico last night.. don't know what the score was, but does it really matter? only highlight(s) for canada i would say is nash getting mvp and all-tournament team honours and barrett being one of the tournament leaders in scoring.. but enough about that--

fuck jay triano for letting his star players rest out in the first period and thinking the game was "ultimately unwinnable". even if it was, what kind of a fucking coach would tell their team that? and for fucks sake they were up by 7 points.. as much as i like the US team, it's not impossible to beat them (proof: last years tournament) i understand nash and barrett were tired but jesus i'm sure they could've sucked it up.. i'm sure they weren't the only team dealing w/ the gruesome schedule. but hey we're out of the olympics now so all we can do is complain, complain, complain

I'm not PISSED at just the canada team, but at JAY TRIANO, and Jamal Maglorie and Carl English!, not at fox or big mac, cause they are injuried but Maglorie and English are some of canada's best players, they SHOULD be representing they country, they should be ashamed. I hope english has a terrible NBA career just because he said he wanted to focus on his NBA career instead of representing his country. Right now, I feel Nash is the only TRUE canadian in the NBA, intill the others(cept maybe big mac as he has already played 4 canadians) proves they are proud to be canadians and play 4 team canada I won't think of them as canadians.\

Oh, I didn't realize Nash won MVP and all-tournament honors, here:

Thats awesome that nash won mvp but it would have been a lot better if they had made the olympics.

not rili..maybe he shouldn't be on Raptors...maybe he's the curse that made Raptors lose...see MacColluch got injured...the whole Raps got seriously injured...maybe itz cuz he is a assistant coach of Raptors and he's the curse... :roll:

Same.... I couldn't watch the whole game at once, I watched the 4th quarter when it was on tv live, watched the first half the next day, and today I watched the third quarter... lol
