What kind of books are you after? Biographies, autobiographies, encyclopedias, etc?

I quite enjoyed The Book of Basketball by Bill Simmons, so I'd recommend that for starters.

Thx~Andrew !!

Maybe I need some books like these

The Official NBA Basketball Encyclopedia

Total Basketball: The Ultimate Basketball Encyclopedia

But these books don't have the latest information because they were published many years ago.
Do you know any books like these but is later than these ??

"WILT, 1962" by Gary Pomerantz

Its a great book if you're thinking about a novel like book, it talks about Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game, how he changed the game of basketball, and how it lifted the NBA to a whole new -era (Y)

I agree with Ben. I did pick up those encyclopedias some years back but with all the online resources that are available, you could give them a miss.

Phil Jackson's The Last Season is another great read.

I'd say not. They are good books in their own right and if you got a good price I guess they'd be nice collectibles but seeing how it's easier to just jump online and find the info you're looking for at Basketball Reference or wherever, I'd save your money for something else.
