Can some1 please explain to me y was he no.2 pick in 89??
i cant find any scout report on him coz they prob didnt have one those days, but i also watched a clip on Shaqs video on HS, and one of the anounser said
"Forget Sacy Agumon, Forger Dany Farry, we shaq Shaquil" or something along those lines!

so obviously he was some HS player! but what happend to him. he never avraged more then 10 ppg!!

I think you mean Danny Ferry. And yes, they did have scouting reports back in 1989. :wink: Scouting reports are not a new innovation, though they are more thorough and detailed these days.

I guess he was expected to be a good player, but like Pervis Ellison (who was taken before him as the first overall pick) he never became anything special.

i think a big reason for ferry not meeting a lot people's expectations was due to the major knee injury he suffered after he left duke

Oh yeah, forgot about Pervis Ellison. What a bust. He's gotta be up there with Sam Bowie.
