2011 Playoffs: (2) Heat vs. (7) 76ers

Postby Lamrock on Tue Apr 12, 2011 12:22 pm

Another match-up is official. I was hoping to see the Heat take on the Knicks, but we have to settle for this lame match-up instead. I got Heat in 4 here. The Sixers are a solid team, but it is not a favorable match-up for them. Miami's had their number all season, and while I'd consider the Sixers to be the best of the bottom 4 East seeds, I can't see them winning any games.

Heat in 6

They can face the Knicks in the second round and renew the rivalry!

Sixers in 4. Because the Heat can't handle the Jruth.

Collins can definitely outcoach Spoelstra making the Sixers win a game or two.

Heat in five. I can see them getting lazy and/or the Sixers having a huge game to steal one but at the end of the day I'm not expecting an upset.

Heat in 4, I don't like calling sweeps but there has to be a few each post-season.
Opinions are my own.

I don't know what to say but never expected the Celtics to squander the second seed so easily. Their loss to WAS pretty much gave us this easy series. The Heat in 5.

Voted for the heat crying because I had to. Anyway, I was hoping for a Heat/Knicks matchup, because I think the Knicks would have more of a shot of extending them the series to 7 games, and the more games the Heat have to play before the conference finals, the better. Anyway, the Sixers are OK, but the Heat are better just about everywhere on the floor.

Miami sweep. :|

Part of me wants to pick the Heat, I look at their three best players and it makes you wonder. But then I sat down with my sources, and they talked to me a lot about how when Doug Collins was a TNT analysis he focused on the most important of the game itself, timeouts. And that's when my mind opened up to a whole new focus on the game of basketball itself.

Put simply, I have to reject this idea that superstars can play together, having too much talent on a team is a real problem. And Doug Collins understands this, and his teams will never use timeouts wrongly. This is why we need to step back and ask the sources, and they all say that a team that wants it will always defeat a team that thinks it will win by default.

Heat in 4. Philly hasn't come very close in any of the games between the two so far, don't see it happening in the post-season.

I think the heat will take it in 4,there's no way that the 76ers offense will over power the heat in this one.

The former team (Walker-Rose-Pedja-Anderson-Fisher) would vaporize the latter team off the face of the earth. They have gobs of rings, the latter team has one ring combined. Anyone who doesn't have a ring is worthless especially compared to those who won rings.

Real basketball fans know this, anyone with a ring is better than anyone without one automatically.

Learn about the game already, maybe you could try watching it to start.

Heat in 6, because the Sixers are a pretty good team, and if I remember correctly, have already beat the Heat this season.

Sixers in 7. The two games that we lost were early in the season during the 3-13 period and the last time they met, it was a close game until the very last minute. Heat will be obviously big time favourites.

My bad. Was thinking about the Spurs, not the Heat. But it wouldn't surprise me to see them steal a couple games, but no more than that.
