How will Yao do this season? IMO-I think if Rocket's get Franchise to pass to the Dynasty...the team and Yao will do very well...and if Yao gets fatter he may beat Shaq!!

I hope Francis averages 20 ppg, 7 rpg and 10apg or something like that, and add 2 spg and get MVP!! He's da man!

The Rockets now have Pliatkowski...a great three-point shooter, I think they've wanted for a while....(I'm not sure bout that statement or where it came from...)

They need to get rid of Cat and Griffen unless Eddie becomes more consistent and Mobley...well I read that the GM doesn't want a fast shooter or something....I wonder if they could trade Eddie/Cat/Taylor for Allan Houston or something???

Rockets are a contender in the West for a playoff berth but unfortunately, my other favourite team; Lakers AKA "A bunch of geriatics" (courtesy of some guys here at school) are just too good, unless egos clash!

Note to that Jason Kidd guy on this forum....have I made a more pointless topic than you...or are you just too hard to beat??? :roll:

shaq is one of the dominant players in the nba, and he's is the best center in the league actually (and a future member of the "hall of fame")
I doubt that someday Yao can reach the "shoes" of O'neal.

i personally think the rockets have quite a while to go, well they will be able to challenge for a playoff birth, i doubt they can make it past the first round intill in a few years when yao fully develops and becomes dominate.

he already is a good player 13 and 8 in rookie season, is pretty good. what do you expect him to do 25 and 12? i predict that this year yao ming can get about 18 and 10, around there. And about Stevie getting MVP, i doubt it, i don't think he can average 20, 7, 10 and 2, he might be able to get 22, 8, 7 and 2, cause last year he got 21, 6, 6 and 1.7.
