The "What If" Thread

Postby Houndy on Wed Nov 10, 2010 9:59 am

This thread is for people to ask some What if moments in NBA history, For example:

What if OKC never left Seattle?
What if Oden never got hurt?
What would have happened if the Wolves kept Brandon Roy, instead of trading him for Foye?

Discuss about it, ask question, have fun.

We could also wonder what would have happened if the Bobcats had drafted Roy instead of Ammo...

By the way, it's WANDER- not WONDER. Unless you're talking about "WONDERING ABOUT THE PAST".

More interesting would be Rondo with Minnesota.

I'm sure this has been in talk before but just to put it here, what if Kobe stayed in the Hornets?

No, the Lakers would have found some way of making Vlade Divac a superstar.

I think that the Wolves would be way better, close to playoffs. The Blazers however, probably would've stayed a Cellar Dweller. Discuss.

or if boston kept the pick for themselves and picked roy

What if the Lakers never traded for the pick to draft Magic Johnson back in 1979?

What if people in this thread had well thought out opinions and made posts so people could discuss and debate since that's the only point of counterfactuals?

Also, what if people in this thread actually knew how draft day trades work?

Finally, what if Dan Gilbert made a time machine, went back in time and killed LeBron in the womb, and then on the way back there was a malfunction and he was sent to Roman times where the device exploded killing Augustus?

I'm sure you mean, "What if the Pistons drafted Chris Bosh and rattled off 4 or 5 championships in the 2000s?"

this is easy to answer. rondo would be sat on the bench and no one would really know who he is. he was given the time to grow in boston thanks to the "big 3" and thats how he became the player he is today. his inability to shoot would leave him on the bench maybe even 3rd pg

The Rockets would've pwned the Lakers and any other puny team in the league.
