Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being 'round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me?

        -The Beatles

Just wanted to start a Golden State Warriors thread to discuss what's going down with my hometown (Incidentally, I searched for an "official" one but found nadda for some 20+ pages back)

A few things I'm Mullin over about the squad:

    · Ownership & Coach - Who's buying them already and with Nellieball likely out, who's in?

    · Epke U  - out of Summer League action with a wrist injury… omen of a bust? Part of a pending sign-and-trade perhaps?

    · Randolph trade - reports have Randolph and possibly Turiaf or Azubuike on the verge of being traded for NYK's, David Lee pending "The Decision" - WHY!?!

Anyway, just throwing these out there.

Now back to bron bron wade bron bosh bron bron bron…

I was surprised that Randolph is playing for the Summer League team. I guess he wants to break his scoring record.

the reason there was no official warriors thread is cause they are the warriors. the only time i have given 2 shits about them was back in the day using tim and chris in nba jam or the unstopable team in nba live(or was it showdown or 94 or whatever)

George7 - yah man, that's U D'OH!

Sauru - yeah, guess i should've abandoned them too after this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_PzNsUotVI or after Marčiulionis was traded to Seattle

I recall there being a Warriors thread here... back in 2005. I reckon you're the first Warriors fan here since Dweaver. :P

I have a gut feeling that, much to the chagrin of Warriors fans, Cohan will keep the team for a couple more years. U:doh: is a poor man's Brandan Wrong. The Warriors trading their best prospect since Gilbert Arenas is pretty hilarious, and totally probable.

I like the Warriors though. Great location. Great dynasty fodder. My favorite coach.

UPDATE: With LeBron choosing the Miami Heat, the Knicks and Warriors will in fact consummate a trade that will send David Lee to Golden State in a sign-and-trade arrangement for Anthony Randolph, Kelenna Azubuike, Ronny Turiaf, and a second-round pick in 2011.

The NBA season hasn't started yet and a Heat fan is already a douchebag in another thread.

I assume some current Heat fans (those that are currently fans 'cause of Wade-Bosh-Bron) used to ride in the Laker bandwagon.

The only Heat fans I can recall in the NLSC are buzzy, Diddy, & Zanshadow. Anyone one new that comes along or becomes one, I consider a bandwagoning retard. Two out of those three are already retards to begin with.

You don't have any Heat related avatar, sig, or quote in your custom title.

You're the controlled fire to lessen the impact of the upcoming fire of retard bandwagoners.

poor blindsided Meal Ticket:

"I don't what to say," he said quietly. "It's so crazy. I can't gather my thoughts right now. My job is just to play basketball. I've always taken the position of whatever happens, happens. Still, it can be a shock when it happens."

Randolph was in Las Vegas to practice with the Warriors summer league team, but now he's headed to a new club.

"It's just so bittersweet," Warriors guard Stephen Curry added. "I thought we had a young core that could grow together. I saw real potential in our group. But that's the business. You can't pick who you play with. You just have to make the best of situations."

You're right. Lee/Randolph is a different circumstance than LeBail's. I'm just trying to digest this trade; hated losing AR & Buike (Turiaf I don't care about); but Lee's a solid baller so maybe he'll work out for the team long-term

Lee just reminds me of a similar workhorse we had (Murphy) not too long ago; but hopefully Lee's supporting cast will be better than his was

Wait till I change my ID to waderulz. Soon, lebronrulz and boshrulz will follow. Believe me, the worst is yet to be seen.

Anyways, Lee has peaked while Anthony hasn't. Solid pick up for the NYK I think. Not sure how far the team will go though, but definitely one to look forward to.

shadowgrin, I've always been on the Heat bandwagon too, since I've joined.

So the Warriors get Lee. Right now he's an upgrade over Randolph for sure, I guess will see the true talent of Randolph next to Amar'e.
