I send my sympathy to Jay Williams...

I have heard thet he has had some serious damage done to his leg and may need rehabilitation to help him walk again...no offence but if you can't walk now...how u gonna be runnin' up the court every game, 82 games a season... with a leg thet is strong and all- not to say the least...in ONE year??

How's that gonna happen!!

It's a terrible thing to happen to Jay Will, not only in terms of his basketball career and the labels that an often unforgiving media may give out ("that guy who was supposed to be something but had a so-so rookie year, then never played again"), but also for him personally. Hopefully he can recover so that his day-to-day life is not hampered by the injury.

Like Todd MacCulloch, this is a situation where the player must focus on being able to do the everyday normal things with a return to basketball a more distant goal.
