How can would draft a player, i thought they had to forfit the pick, it even sid so on the mock draft at nbadraft.net.
they had to forfit it coz they did some under the table deal with joe smith??

they only forfeited their 2002 & 2004 first rounds, but they were able to select someone this year.

The league originally stripped the Wolves of their first round picks in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. However, they returned the 2003 and 2005 picks.
