NBA Crowds Too Soft.

In my opinion, I think the NBA crowds are way too soft.

People might say "It's a Family Show". Well maybe it shouldn't be a family show. I'm not even that old but I went to a Euro basketball game and a NBA game and I can't believe how quiet the NBA crowds were.

I don't think it has anything to do with being family entertainment, it's just cultural differences. On the other side of the coin, you don't get too many NBA related riots either.

The good old days of coin throwing. When I was a child, I thought the players were lucky when they were pelted with coins by the opposing crowd, more money me thinks then. Made me wonder why the crowd loves the opposing team as to throw them coins.

What with name change, shadowgrin. good thing i'm the only shadow in this forum though. :cheeky:

NBA fans are sophisticated compared to others, not soft. Golden State fans when they beat Dallas in playoffs were awesome. Fans are just fine they just need something bigger to get crazy about.

Do you guys ever stop to think that it could just be Kobe/Laker fans opposed to Celtic fans?

Celtic fans know enough about the Laker Celtic history to chant MVP for him. Using your brain to find a logical explanation isn't that difficult, you know?

Please put it in proper context. Those are murders, not riots in a game.

I was trying to make the point that europe has more riots and the us more murder.
so who is the more sophisticated culture is pretty much undecided.

No one said anything about murders amongst NBA fans. Not even zanshadows post. Since when was murder a part of measure for sophistication?

I compared murder against riots to indicate that both cultures have unsophisticated sides to them.

This kinda isn't relevent to the subject if it doesn't involve basketball crowds.

In the context of sports fans, not murders.
