Jameer Nelson will miss several weeks

So a pretty decent season for him may be ended by this shoulder injury. He won't play in the All-Star game, too, I guess. Well imo he profited from his team success to get in there, but still he was playing the best season of his career and got rewarded. We will see how important he is for the Magic now that he's out. Hopefully he will be back for Playoffs to see the best players going at each other (Just like Andrew uses to say ;) )

Oh and will be interesting too see who gets nominated to play instead of Nelson in the ASG. Maybe Vince or Allen or Rondo?

I'd probably say that it'll be Mo Williams, Allen or Rondo. Swap a first-timer for a first-timer, I reckon.

No, I didn't mess with the cosmic forces on this one. It's all on him.

A real shame for Nelson given how well he was playing and definitely a blow to the Magic. Anthony Johnson is a capable veteran but unless they plan on having a backup point guard by committee or relying on Mike Wilks, I wouldn't be surprised if Orlando looks to bring in someone else for a little more depth at the point in Nelson's absence.
