Let's just wait and see if T-MAC shows sign of improvement after he finish his two week off-season program rehab. Personally, I believe he can comeback and play at the level he's capable of again, and I'm not trying to be extra positive because I'm a T-MAC fan either. True, there is no guaranteed ordeal that the Rockets will get past the first round with the help T-MAC has now, but you cant deny the fact that the Rockets are a much capable team with the roster they have right now if their players are healthy. OK, that's not the case right now since Artest and T-MAC are both out a few weeks, but give it some time and things will eventually start to get better. That being said, T-MAC is still only 29 and his body is surely capable of recovering from whatever injury he has.
What I'm not happy about though is Yao's quiet comment. If the article is telling the truth, then aren't Yao being a little selfish? Correct me if I'm wrong but this is the first season since his third year in the league that he's healthy. He hasn't play more than 60 games in each of his last three season himself and just because he's healthy this year doesn't mean that he can go negative on T-MAC.
I say we wait and see how T-MAC perform after his "off-season program rehab" and then we can judge whether or not he can bounce back to the level he's capable of again. Hopefully he'll be able to do so and considering that he's only 29, he should be able to do so.
At the end of the day, if the Rockets and T-MAC can stay healthy and play at the level they're truly capable of, they'll prove all the naysayers wrong.
