I was watching the cleveland boston game last night and i saw rondo score at will on the inside, and getting clobbered and still getting back up. Is rondo becoming an inside scorer? Every inside score that i saw him attempt, he made, and the contact he took wow! It seems to me like his inside scoring has improved and also he got tougher. What's up with rondo? If anybody knows.

Well Rondo was never known as an outside shooter either, so he has to get his points some how.

He said he has bulk up a lot during the summer and tried to get stronger. It's good he did so, because he got pushed around more last year than he probably will, this year. Rondo is definitely the fourth best Celtic, and to be honest, I don't see Ray Allen much better than he is. Anyways, I hope he develops his shot, he'll have the whole package then.

Ray Allen is a shooter and a good defensive player. You will not see him trying to dribble down the rim like Pierce or Rondo

Rondo is a better defensive player, imo.

Hugh? haha Jesus Christ.

I still think the Rondo hype is a little too much. Ray Allen played much better help defense the Rondo did last season. Rondo gets steals and cleans up cheap defensive boards, but Ray Allen is a much more physical defender.

I'm a bit hesitant to make this comparison as I don't think Rondo's near his level yet but the way he plays reminds me a little of Tony Parker at the beginning of his career; he's quite adept at getting inside and finishing at the rim despite his size but his jumpshot is shaky and he's an unreliable free throw shooter (even moreso than Parker was).
