Who will the Bulls draft?

Postby RedTorro on Sat May 10, 2003 4:15 am

Anybody have any info on who the Bulls will go after? Or will they trade the pick :?: Personally I think they should trade the pick to the Clipps for Corey.

nbadraft.net is a very good website to get to draft information IMO. as the draft approaches, more articles should come out

I think the Bulls should consider drafting a shooting guard, in case the Jay-Will/Crawford backcourt experiment doesn't work out next year (that's assuming they try it again). I can't suggest a specific player though. Alternatively, they could draft a small forward and move Rose back to shooting guard if the Williams/Crawford plan backfires.

With Curry showing signs of improvement here and there during the regular season's final weeks, there's no need to acquire another young centre through the draft. The Bulls are also more or less set at power forward with Donyell Marshall and Tyson Chandler. The question marks, in my opinion, are surrounding the SG/SF positions, and depend on the success of playing Jamal and Jay together. Some insurance at those positions would be nice, and the draft is a fairly easy (albeit risky) method of acquiring it.

i think the bulls doesn't need to draft a good player anymore. they should trade jalen rose for a player that can be a go-to-guy who can lead them to win ballgames. jalen rose is not that type of player that can lead this young group. he's like a second scorer.

And we all know how NBA Live 2003 is exactley the same as real life, and that how the same things always happen in both.

it will be interesting to see who will they draft if they get no. 3

if Milicic goes no. 2 picking Carmelo will be a no brainer ;)

if Carmelo goes no. 2,will they draft Milicic? i think they will and then trade him for someone (maybe even Carmelo, and give Milicic and someone else)

what do you think?

They could draft Milicic and play Chandler at SF, I think there was talk of that anyway? I could be wrong, haven't followed the Bulls that much.
