How the game is played
- Each round will consist of twenty one (21) questions divided into the following categories.
Free Throws: Worth one point each, nothing too taxing here.
Field Goals: Worth two points each, may require research.
Three Pointers: Worth three points each, harder questions, some historical stuff.
And-One: Worth three points each, another set of harder questions.
Bonus Question: A bonus question that you may use to make up a few points. - New players may jump in at any time. It is not necessary to compete in every round.
- Each player may answer up to three (3) questions per round. Players may answer additional questions if any remaining questions are announced as being open to all players, regardless of whether they have answered three questions or not.
- Questions that are answered incorrectly are free to be answered again. Questions may be selected from any category, as long as they haven't already been answered.
- No editing posts to change answers!
- Points will not be shared. Whoever answers the question first will get the points.
- The list of questions will be updated as each series of answers is confirmed to indicate a question is no longer on the board.
- If you know an answer that has been posted to be incorrect, feel free to jump in and answer the question yourself. Please note that this will count as one of your three questions per post.
- When posting your answers, be sure to either list the question numbers or quote the questions you are answering.
- Bonus points may be offered on selected questions. When applicable, the amount of bonus points will be listed alongside the question.
- The eventual trivia champion will be decided by the total number of points earned.
I think that's about all that needs to be said to set it up. I'd like to ask that no one be a spoilsport; if you think this is a dumb idea or don't want to play, please keep out of this thread and let everyone else have their fun. Thanks.
