NBA Playoffs 2008: Hawks vs. Celtics

Okay, this is the official Hawks vs. Celtics thread. Not the most exciting series, but who do you pick to win? I have Celtics in 5. I think the Hawks are hungry enough to take game 3 or 4, but Celtics will dominate in the end.

My pick is C´s in 4, they´re too good for Hawks. Although Hawks maybe hungry, but they still ain´t gonna win any.

I would love to see the hawks beating the C's just as the warriors did last year with the mavs, but this may be an utopia... anyway hope to see the hawks wining at least one game!

The big three has such a lot to prove and the Hawks are the first to stay in they're way.

Josh Smith, Marvin, Horford have no post-season experience, although acquiring Bibby brought them plenty of experience. Joe was also there with the Suns. Really well in 04-05, nearly 19 points per game on 56% from distance.

Atlanta will be lucky to get one game from the Celtics I think. With that said, the Celtics are just too powerful and have too much firepower for Atlanta to handle. Celtics in 5, as Atlanta may steal a game.

When I saw Hawks vs. Celtics in the title, images of Wilkins and Bird's playoff series flashed in my mind.

i am so happy the hawks made the playoffs as the 8th seed, now i can buy tickets to watch my celtics beat the shit outa them while everyone around me curses me. hell i hope the series goes 6 so i can sneak in another playoff game

Not that it decided the game because the Hawks gave a tremendous effort to take the third game but that offensive foul called on Ray Allen in the second half was one of the most ridiculous calls I've ever seen. I watched the replay figuring there must have been some contact, maybe a pushoff with his free hand but there wasn't a more perfect example of a non-call.

Atlanta just won Game 4 tonight, evening the series at 2-2. So much for my Celtics in 5 prediction. Surprising to say the least that Atlanta has tied this.

Hawks beat the C's once again at home, the series is tied at 2. Great game for Johnson with 35pts and for Smith with 28pts and 7 blocks!. The Hawks use a strong 4th quarter push to win this game... this series is getting more exciting than what we have all expected
