Hedo Turkoglu Announces Retirement From NBA

Young forum members might not be familiar with this foreign named guy but he used to be quite good. His career though took a quick downturn after signing with the Raptors though.

That reminds me, Ray Allen still hasn't announced his retirement. I wonder if he's considering a comeback.

Last played for the Clippers.

Dude was a great player. Also a good passer. A stretch 4 before it was cool

He had a pretty good run with the Orlando Magic back in the day. On the video game front, I remember him being quite solid for me in my Sacramento Kings Franchise back in NBA Live 2002. He'd bounced around a bit the last few years as his production faltered, and he was getting on in years after fifteen seasons in the league, so it's not surprising that he's called it a day.

As for Ray Allen, maybe he latches on with a team late in the season, but it sounds like he's all but retired at this point. It's just a matter of making it official.

Oh yes, I remember him playing for the Kings back when I was a kid. Became a fan during his Magic days.

Can't remember the details but he was hated by fans and management when he left.

Only memory I have of him in the NBA was when I got NBA trading cards when I bought KFC back in the 2011 Finals. (Mavs vs Heat)
