FshED, jersey number tutorial for dummies?

I know how to make the jerseys in Photoshop, but I don't know what to do after that. i want to make the Knicks jersey where the number is on top of the word 'KNICKS" --(Nike rewind from last year)

i looked in the help file but didn't see anything. if someone can just put some quick info or some quick simple steps to putting the numbers where you want on the jersey--that'd be greatly appreciate. or just an example of what you do when you make the numbers on the jersey.
