Live 97 problems

Postby Filip on Sat Oct 18, 2003 9:22 pm

I just installed NBA Live 97 for a couple of minuts ago to get some old nice memories back, but there was a problem with the graphic (Xcept that it looks ugly today). When I ran with a player everything shaked, looked like there was a vulcano on its way or something.
Can this be fixed?

My system is:
Pentium 2,00ghz
384MR DDR RAM
Windows XP
80gb hardrive
Gforce 4, MX 440.

Please help

I've noticed the same thing playing NBA Live 97 on a PC that far exceeds the requirements. I don't think there's anything you can do, except play the game on a lesser machine.

Thats sucks big time! The problem would probably be solved if there was a frame-limiter in the game (like in GTA 1).
Well, i'll install Live 98 and play that instead I guess (but the dunks are much better in 97), I got 95 (well my brother does) too, but that one is tooooo old :)

I've actually been playing some of the old Lives while I wait for NBA Live 2004 as well. Played a game of NBA Live 95 with an 88/89 roster patch, Bulls vs Lakers. The Lakers beat me at the buzzer, 139-136.

I've also been playing short games of NBA Live 99 in arcade mode. Scored 146 points with Felton Spencer, including 42 three pointers. Ah, arcade mode...

That hurt huh :P
I remembered Live'95 as a quite realistic game, but 136-139 is not realistc.

I have only played the Live'99 demo, but I remember that I liked it, nice dunks and shit.
