I don't think there is anyone still patching NBA Live 2001. Play NBA Live 2000!
About your question from the other thread, I don't have a download link for a full version of NBA Live 2000. Please look for such link by yourself or buy the game via ebay.

Yeah, Live 2000 is much, much better, and more popular, which means more roster updates, face/player updates, and more!
