Fallaway jumper

Postby sampsonnot on Fri Jul 18, 2003 11:01 am

Hi All!

I am puzzle about a move that the computer performs regularly but I have no idea how to execute it. It is shooting the fallaway jumper while posting up a player. The computer can post you up, and in a split second or without any extra animations, pulls up for a fallaway jumper. Now if I were to do it (while posting up and holding the post up key), pressing the oppostion direction and shoot will usually result in a hook shot, which almost never goes in. If I let go of the post up button and quickly press opposite direction and shoot, the player will get into the spin away animation for a little bit before he pulls up and shoots. He won't jump right from where he post up (Like what the computer control player can do). I wonder if anyone of you know the command to execute it. Thanks!

KQ, used to release a list of the moves with some of his patches. If you have any of those zip files, check inside.

Here's how I think you do it: you hold down the turbo button and shoot like you would shoot a fadeaway.....it takes some practice, but it can be done....I think the better a player with, the easier it is to execute.....for example, Kobe Bryant will do it more than, say, Milt Palacio...remember, though, you have to press all the keys at the same time....it can be done, I promise.

If you mean backing down, that's done by holding down the pivot/spin move key/button.

no i know how to do that...its a move that the opposing point guard usually uses against me when hes first settting up a play, he does it around the 3 point line....he walks around the 3 point line with his back to the point guard on my team...sometimes the shooting guard will do it too...its not that great of a move, but it does keep the ball away from the opposition, so im just wondering how to do it....thanks
