NBA Live 99 EA Update alters rosters, how to get orig back?

Hi,
I had trouble running NBA 99 on XP SP2 (i wasn't able to choose a controller and the game refused to load - I never saw the loading bar either)
So, I installed the patch from here: http://download.nba-live.com/index.php?act=view&id=183 and the game works super now but all the rosters have been changed.
How do I revert back to the original rosters?

Take note though that the original rosters still contains the dunk glitch iirc. Vince Carter can't dunk with the original rosters even if you increase his dunk and jump rating to 99. The EA Update fixes that but you can also correct the original rosters yourself. Check out the tutorial section in the Live 99 resource page/

If it's the original NBA Live 99 rosters we're talking about, Vince Carter won't be in there as the lockout meant that NBA Live 99 was released with final 1997/1998 rosters; no class of 1998 rookies at all by default.

Ah yes. It was the first? patch that had the dunk glitch, I think. It's been 10 years, don't blame me if I forget the extra details about the game.

Yeah that sounds familiar. Brad Miller's DSTATS also had him shoot something like 180/220 from three point range in simulation. I can't remember whether the second official roster update fixed it up or whether we just had to correct it ourselves through the unofficial updates and the NLSC Toolkits.
