problems with installing the jerseys?

hey guys

I've installed the jerseys by running the *.bat file. and then i opened EA graphic editor and checked the teamdata.viv, the old jerseys are replaced by the new jerseys in the teamdata, but when i run the game, the jerseys do not show up. does anyone know why? how can i solve this problem? thanks a lot!

PS. i'm running win 98 now

I did follow all the instructions to install the jerseys....

i have blotch, eapatch, gfxpak in my nba live 2000 main folder. my teamdata.viv file is archive type. :D

Did you do a full install?

full install is copying the whole art folder right?

I mean choosing custom install, and then double clicking on all the options and checking all the sub-folders.

did you choose the custom install option in the installation menu when you first launch the cd, checking all the option or did you copy the files on your hard disk a while after you install the game by a automatic install ?

you must use the first way to make the jerseys work

I just had the same problem. Everything was going fine, then one day my win.exe wouldn't run. So I re-installed it and I did check custom, then went right through without doing the double checking and the teamdata.viv didn't install. Well, I un-installed, re-installed, making sure I checked every square and it did show up. So be sure you do check EVERYHING!

If u uninstalled it and checked if u chose the Custom Install mode, would u lose all ur previous patches ie. cyberfaces etc. Would u have to install all the patches all over again? I have the same problem, my jerseys wont work.

cyberfaces...as long as they are in the updates folder...no
and you keep your save games

jerseys/courts/dornas/frontends.... you will lose them
