Wrong nickname

Hey I've made a player with last name Bryant, and sometimes during the game I get called Kobe, even though I chose a different first name.
Anything I can do about it?

Strange, try to re create your player and let the first one in the free agents, don poier will call it bryant but the arena announcer should call your number

That is odd. As far as I can remember, NBA Live 2000 used audio for surnames in the database but not the first names as well.

Nicknames maybe? They set Bryant's nickname to his first name?
