I play NBA LIVE 2001 Japanese version.
The playerdbf can be remodeled.
There is no teamdbf in the saving data（000 001 etc）.
The teamdbf was put from other folders in the saving data but the team name had not been changed though it loaded in the game.

Teams.dbf isn't loaded when it's a Roster save. It's only saved/loaded when it's a Franchise or Season.

You can still change team names and other data by modifying the teams.dbf file in all of the database folders (workingdb, origdb, etc).
