NBA Live 2001 roster update (Feb. 28th, 2005)

finally!
-adjusted the ratings for more realistic franchises
-removed retired players from free agent pool (moved them to retired team, so when first season of franchise finishes, they will appear on the retired players list. but they can't be signed by other teams).
-added jerseys for the allstar teams and added the rookies/sophomores. separate download; see website for link.

Installation: for the roster, just backup your saves\000 folder and extract the zip to the saves folder.

hey!!what's wrong with the roster file , many players' faces are disappear (for example:ORL:steve francise), can you fix it ??

sorry about that... i installed some tatoos and bands patches for iverson and francis, so that may be causing te problems. thanks for telling me, i'll fix it right away.
btw, some of the players not included in the 2001 rosters have no faces because i installed cyberfaces for them (lebron, carmelo, ...). just download the cyberfaces from nlsc or from any other source. sorry about that.

Oh!No, it doesn't work ,so many players' faces still disappear,and the jersey doesn't work ,too.i can't find the cyberfaces file from nba-live.com(in nbalive 2001 don't have that file),where can i find it?

jerseys only work at maximum detail setting. or if your system can't handle it, just set the bench detail to high and the texture detail to high. and don't forget to copy the teams.dbf to the curdb, origdb and workdb folders.
as for the other cyberfaces, i think they are available on some other websites... it's been so long since i downloaded those patches, i can't remember where i got them from. sorry i can't help with that. try searching the forums... a lot of links are up here.
please just post the players with missing faces and i'll try and fix them. any more bugs and comments are welcome.

first of all i really want to thank you for keeping nba live 2001 alive.
now for the missing faces - those are the ones i noticed (i think that's all of them):
C. Butler (LAL)
C. Anthony (DEN)
L. James (CLE)
S. Battier (MEM)
P. Gasol (MEM)
A. Iverson (PHI) - this one has whole body white, not only the head
S. Francis (ORL) - this one is whole white too
S. Nash (PHO)
R. Lewis (SEA)
G. Arenas (WAS)
E. Curry (CHI)
i was looking for some cyberfaces here on forums, and in the internet and most of the downloads don't work anymore. maybe, if you still have those patches, you could upload some of them on your website? i mean... if it wasn't a big problem.
As for the some upgrades to your roster - i would consider influencing the gameplay by changing some stats. skills i would try to make lower are: stealing (about -15 to all players), off. rebounds (about -15), blocking (about -10). maybe put field goals up a bit...
i hope you will release some patch after the deadline coz it seams to be very interesting this year.
