lightning quick fadeaway

Postby TMACool on Mon Jan 10, 2005 4:18 pm

this question has been bugging me for the past 5 years. did ayone of you ever try to do the lighting quick post up fade away that the computer always initiate during his low post game the cpu always makes the shot. unlike the slower fade away which i always end up can anyone put a light into this.

another thing i always saw a computer player do a payton like dribbling move when passing from screens. PAYTON MOVE= sliding sidewards lateral with his butt in the defenders face while sliding away from a screen usually happens at the 3 point line. then it would be near impossible to steal the ball away from him.

dis 2 moves has gotten my attention because i never done dem before. i guess they are the only moves i failed to do in nba live2000. ay more expert out there pls shed a light to this topic. if you just cant get the picture yet tell me and i will describe or post a screen shot

Coolmac- the Payton move, I know what you're talking about, but I don't know how to do it. I don't think it's possible for the user to do, actually.

But the lightning quick fadeaway, I know how to do that. Once you recieve the ball in the post, don't dribble, but press the directional button away from the basket and then hold the shoot button, releasing when you're in a good spot on the fadeaway. You have to do it quickly, or your man will just turn around and do a regular shot.

Also, do you know how to do this move: between the legs and back, standing in place. You press the jabstep and crossover buttons together- it's a sweet looking move, and if your dribbler has good quickness and dribbling ability, sometimes the defender will get shaken out of his shoes, and you'll have like 5 feet of open space to swish a jumper 8-)
