Only one MEGA-SITE for NBA LIVE 2000 : is it possible ?

Since days, everyone seems to have doubts about NBA Live 2000 and its future...Why ?
Nba Live 2000 is not dead because several patchers are always working.

Idiot, Marburyfan3, Dirtdog1-David, Unoquepasa, Iverson_I3, T-mac, Aitor Aguirre, Brdhsby5, D3vilm4n, Matt Orizaga, Patrixx, Fernandez Santiago, alexboom and bb14 are the principal patchers (graphic and roster)

question : Do you think it's possible to create one day a "serious Live 2000 site" which could be host all patches ?? (with several webmasters)
or is it an unrealistic project ? (long work, time...)
Can we take any decision before seeing the 2005 version ??

For the moment, I'm not sure to be ready for that (my site has 3 sports sections) but it could be the solution to keep Nba live 2000 alive for the years to come...

I hear that...The NBA Live 2000 SUPERSITE..seems like a great idea..but will it work? I would highly doubt it...but possibly

well, there is NO free hoster that would provide us as much as webspace as we need ... look at alexsite : i can't put all the patches on the same time as i've got only 100 Mo of webspace but more than 180 Mo of patches ...

So we would have to pay for a host and then get problem like nbalive.org have ... i don't know if it's really worth it ...

Yes, the "limited size" on free hoster is still a big problem !
But it can be resolved in a regular update, many sites lose place keeping too much patches which are not used any more...
Yes, Nobody is ready to pay for this kind of site, it's normal.

It's possibly that my idea was an utopia, it's difficult to know today for how long me and the other patchers we will continue our job to keep Nba Live 2000 alive...

Why not divide the patches among accounts on different storage sites keeping just one account for the site structure?
I don't know if this could really work well but it is a try...

mmh, your solution is considerated as remote linking and it's forbidden by the majority of the hosters. I use it a little for alexsite, but not that much, i wouldn't like to see some of my accounts removed

It's really sad this idea couldn't have come up sooner..A Professional webhost had a limited time offer for 500MB of free webspace with a professional hosting package that is now expired.

no chance but to pay. i guess some one has a big credit card would like to pay for us. ders a site dat offers a 5 dollars a month for 250 mb

It just needs to be filled with patchs!

i don't really play live 2000 but how about you guys can team up and create some sort of a mod for 2000. maybe update all the graphics and rosters for the current season. and then maybe .org or nlsc can host the mod.
