Jersey and Court Patches - Installation Problems

I want to install jerseys and courts patches on my Live 2000 game but they neva seem to install properly. I have the gfxpak.exe in my Live 2000 main folder and i have unzipped the files in to the main folder and run the bat and it still doesnt work. I copied the teamdata.viv folder into my art/ingame/teams folder but that wasnt working so i tried something else and cut it and put it into the main folder to see if that worked. It didnt. Is there anything else that i havent done that i need to know about?

things to check for:

-full install
-blotch00/eapatch

by main folder you mean your "NBA LIVE 2000" folder right? just to make sure

if you are "copying" the teamdata.vin from the cd to your teams folder, that probably means you hadn't done a full install right?
reinstall the game by checking off everything..... except the movie
if you just copy i dont think the game will read it off your hdd, maybe it does, but you probably wouldn't have unchecked the read-only thing so it wouldn't install the patches properly anyways...

if you haven't done a full install and you don't want to reinstall the game, you can copy the files from the CD (but be careful ! you gotta place them in the right directories) then open the install.dat file with notepad. Here's mine :

that's easy : every line starting with CD means the game will look up on your CD. What starts with HD will look on your hard drive.
