Question regarding the celebration screen

Alex, unoquepasa, dirtdogdavid...anyone?

I have not finished a season yet in the game but i have heard many times that the game will crash if the pf's face is patched, during the celebration

can you guys explain to me why this would happen?
does this happen if the faces are updated via the "update" folder?

you're allright. a pf with a patched cyberface will make the game crash at the celebration screen. If your PF hasn't a patched cyberface that will be ok, but skip the celebration menu if someonle else in your starting five has a patched cyberface

nobody found a way to correct that problem. if the starting pf of the winning team has a generic cyberface, you gotta do some dbf editing before the celebration screen to give him a generic cyberface

why is that the case? the game can read the patched cyberface all through out the game but not in the celebrating screen? thats weird~

yep, maybe for this screen the game takes cyberface from another file, maybe this one for instance : art\ingame\largetextures\plrdata2.viv

No, it happens with any of your starters.
I just used the PF as an example for your question about the menu.

It only happens with players that don't have an original cyberface in the game but are patched without changing all viv files.
I suppose that if you add the cyberface to all viv files (low res, high res, etc...) the crash won't happen.

By the way... I forgot to mention it...
the crash will happen with any team, regardless of user control.
You must check if the champion team doesn't have any of these created players without original cyberfaces in the starting lineup before proceeding to the celebration.
