Yeah of course.

Have you ever done any texture editing? Maybe have a clue as to why the portrait won't work? When I have it in the update folder and stuff and run the game it's not replaced - I feel like I'm not putting it in the right place


Actually I found a portrait update pack to see if it would help with anything - it kind of seems like you can't have them externally as a mod in a folder like faces - but I could be totally wrong.

NEW CYBERFACE: LARRY BIRD '92 DREAM TEAM

as ripped from my readme:

(the picture displays a white mark on the tip of the shoe however that is fixed but not shown in the screenshot)

the headshape is a little off but no headshape comes close to larry bird so i went with his default one

I haven't done any texture editing for NBA Live 2000, as far as I can recall. If I did, it was a long, long time ago. I've mostly worked with rosters up until a few years ago, when I made logo updates and so forth for NBA Live 2005 through NBA Live 08.

Magic Johnson doesn't have the Converse Weapons in his lakers colorway, I'll make those when I can

The weapons also have a lil messed up texture I'm gonna have to fix too. So when I get around to it I'm going to update bird & magic for their shoes

Good question! He certainly had a few, as well as some mixes. Perhaps red, green, and bleach blonde variations?

Yeah, I'll do those, I may add a few other ones in depending if I'm feeling it or not. I wonder if it's possible to do the demolition man hairstyle (bleached with the small kinda hawk thing), is headshapes even possible with a 3d editing program? the only way i know how to do headshapes is morphing thru create a player or using one off a player. oh well

Anyways, added the lakers weapons for Magic and fixed Bird's,

I don't think there was much 3D editing going on back then. I think it was just a matter of finding an existing headshape that suited, and extracting it. I have a feeling model editing wasn't really a thing until NBA Live 2003.

Decided to go with the ones you suggested. I'll do more later if I feel like it. It was a tad bit annoying having to redo and rebuild the files with the textures I had to edit cause there was something off with the face, ya know, but it's good. I forgot you were a bulls fan so when I was picking out shoes I intended to find pics of the Air Darwins he wore during his tenure with the spurs - I couldn't find many pics. But I remembered you were a bulls fan and he had a signature converse shoe during the bulls (these were 97) so I did these and although with the shoe mapping the front gets pushed back on the model - it looks quite good. At least I think it does
