NLSC Current Roster Update

I'm planning to release v4.11 of the current roster update after April 16th, when the season has concluded and playoff rosters have been announced. However, I'm not sure if there's any interest in continuing the rosters beyond then - there have been less than 3000 downloads for v4.10.
Let me know if there's substantial interest in continuing the updates for Live 2001. If I don't have the time, I might look into passing the rosters on to someone else. As it stands now, I could continue updating the rosters on a semi-regular basis, but only if there is enough interest.

i am really interested in updated rosters, i still download them. Could you modify some ratings? Players like Ginobili and Giricek are under 70.

Yes, i'm interested, too. You don't have to update often, for example you can update next season on opening night, end of transaction in February and at start of playoff. That's my sugesstion for next season. It's not hard to us to made transaction which happend between opening night and February deadline or add some new players.

With the fucking simulation of Live 2003 I still playing Live 2001 so I am interested too but sincerely I only download the first roster of the season since I found The NLSC because I don´t like some of the ratings and I don´t want to edit them every month.Maybe a new rosters to the playoffs could be perfect.

Well, there's a sticky topic for suggestions regarding ratings, etc - this thread is just to see if there's any interest in continuing the roster update. There's not enough interest to make a support forum as I did with Live 2003, but I'll be glad to offer the same kind of support/place for suggestions for the Live 2001 rosters - so if you strongly disagree with ratings, you can suggest improvements and changes.

I just don't have the time to create one for Live 2000, while the Live 2001 roste patch is already moderately up to date (at least not as far out of date as starting from scratch with Live 2000).

but ain't it possible to start with the last NLSC update available (I mean, not the one made by Ben, but the one who really was distributed on the NLSC) ?

That file has been long lost. I'd have to start from scratch, and I don't have enough time to give the Live 2001 rosters as much attention as the Live 2003 rosters as it is. It's not that I don't want to help out by updating the rosters, it's simply a matter of free time.

i may have the last version of the 2000 roster available on my hard disk.
i'll have a look tonight once back home.
if I got it, could I use it as a base to publish an updated roster, cause I tried to start from scratch but pffeeewww, i stopped at milwaukee there's so much to do !

Sure, as long as it's an NLSC roster and not one of Ben's, I can give you permission to use it.

Well,I don´t like some ratings but I am pretty sure that everybody have their opinion about the right rating of every player so I am not disagree with your ratings.I only made my own ones with your rosters.
And I never download more than the first rosters of the season because:
1)I want my "own" ratings so I don´t want to change the ratings every month when there are new rosters.I know that make the rosters is a very hard work so I only can say:

2)I usually play seasons of 82 games so I can´t begin the season every time that there are new rosters.

Well, during the offseason, if there's any ratings you disagree with and have suggestions to improve the roster, all feedback would be welcome. I'd prefer to save people the trouble of changing all the ratings wherever possible.

Sorry, as I've already announced I won't be continuing roster updates for NBA Live 2001. I've offered to hand the patch over for someone else to maintain, but there hasn't been much interest at all.
