What NBA team(s) do you play with in Live 2000?

For some reason, the last two seasons I've played with Toronto, even though they're not that good......I don't really have a favorite team anymore because of all the free agency that goes on. Who do you guys play with...or should I say, what team do you plan on using next year?

i'm playing the cleveland cavs right now.

I'm having a short season, Superstar, and have a 9-9 win-loss record. good enough for 9th place at the All Star break.

Lebron James is averaging 25 ppg but i've lost a lot of games due to the team's frequent breakdown late in the game.

i've somehow corrected this by using a run and gun style of play with Boozer at C, Jones at PF, James at SF, Davis at SG, and Wagner at the point. I've won 3 straight with this lineup. hope they make it to the playoffs.

but just to ask, anybody here has a patch of that new cavs jersey? i tried alex site, downloaded it, but it doesn't seem to work with my game. help me please......

personnaly i was thinking to use the nuggets because they look more exciting than before (andre miller and carmelo anthony)But i will make the court before using them

hey MarburyFan! I used your patch for the Cavs jersey

but it doesn't seem to work for me. I extracted it to the main NBA live folder and clicked on the batch file to get it going. But it doesn't go. Can u help me on this?

By the way, the deep red/maroon Cavs color u used looks good. keep patching for Live 2000!

streakshooter, did you make a full install for for nba live 2000 ? if not the jersey doesn't work.

what does full install mean? anyway, i re-installed the game and this time all are checked incl. the movies. still the same thing. the patch won't work. any ideas?

you're doing a good job, alex, in keeping Live 2000 alive. ben seem to have lost interest in 2K so it's nice to have somebody like u around.

maybe you have windows xp ? under XP batchs files may not run

I play franchise mode. Ben's latest patch that came out last christmas eve.

It was Blazers, Warriors, Kings, Wizards, Nets, Cavaliers, Denver, Chicago, Dallas, Indiana, Minesota, ...well i'd better say the teams that i've not played yet.

I didn't try LAC, NY, and Seattle yet. I'll try them after my current franchise with LAL is over. I don't play but simulate the season games of the franchise mode unless necessary cuz I play 12 minute quarter games..it'll take forever to finish 25 years. I only play playoff games. 1-1-1-1.

If I happened to stockpile allstars in my team, then I skip all the games but the Finals cuz it's too easy. If my team's overall rating goes too low, then I play some season games to help my team go to the playoffs.

I'm having a very hard time to keep my Lakers franchise going. Bryant and O'Neal suck up all the salaries, I couln't get quality role players. If I simulate one season with this team, they get like 5 wins out of 28 season games. I have to play some season games myselft to get them past playoffs. 48 minute games take me about one and a half hour to finish....whew...
