Tayshaun Prince

Postby Dirtdog1- David on Thu May 15, 2003 1:30 pm

I was looking through my 2002 rookies folder and noticed that i only had one Tayshaun Prince cyberface and that one was in the the Smurly 11-28 rookie pack..................... but does anyone know of any other Tayshaun patches? if not i think i will try my hand at one....................... that's if there is not a grade A one floating around somewhere?

If you have one, or know of a real good one, then share it!

I dont think there are any grade A Tayhaun Prince ones, I have looked and I have found a couple but the level of detail in the face is not that great and the cyberface is all there is.

I'll try to make a new one. This week I've finished new faces and new headshape bin files for rookies like Roger Mason, Jiri Welsch, Sam Clancy, Marco Jaric or Pat Burke. I hope to get a more realistic face for Tayshaun you're my Prince  .

The problem with the gray colour is the original picture used for Smurly. This guy worked on the CNN Tayshaun's picture (the best i've seen) and this picture is specially good for tanned white skins.
Otherwise, we've another option: Tayshaun Prince with tanned withe skin.
Opinions?

My Tayshaun attempt

Postby Dirtdog1- David on Sat May 17, 2003 11:55 pm

I gave it a try last night; I am not 100% happy with it. There are two pretty good pictures, but one of them looks a little too dark for him. I wanted to use this one, but it would look nothing like him; which would require a 3 color base.
In my opinion he is definitely a 2 color, he is pretty light?

That's my opinion, David. I'll try to make another one with skin number 2 ("tanned white").

The one i did i used the #2 tanned skin. I would post my preview in this thread, but i don't know how to do that. :?
Maybe Alex could show me how that is done.

Unoquepasa, Damn :( i just checked the CNNSI photo, and that is a way better photo than the one i used, for some reason that one don't come up when you do a google search. Well the one i used is the lighter one that comes up when you do a google search.

No problem, Alex. Next days I'm going to edit that mouth :P .
David, check your e-mail. I've made my Tayshaun version. The Fac2 result is very good but i don't like me too much the headshape used for Smurly.
Opinions, please.

I will check yours out and give you feedback.
I made one version, with that other photo, and i will do a new one with the CNNsi photo. I am looking for a better headshape for him, i tried two already and they don't look nothing like him. Smurly's is too round.
What i have noticed is he has alot of detail to his face eg. spots and other marks. Trying to blend his face to the skin tone is difficult because of these marks all over his face. So i just blended around the outside, and left the rest like it is. I think when i finally finish it will look good in the game.

Hey, thanks alexboom!
I wouldn't have thought that anyone could even remember my site. I wasn't able to update it for over half a year, because when I got my new PC with frikkin' XP installed, I could never start the game again. So is there any solution to that problem?

yeay debiler when I came to Live 2000 i liked a lot your patchs :) there were good and your patchs were the only ones for the 2002 rookie class (I didn't know dirtdog1-david & unoquepasa yet :) )

that would be great you come back to patching and as you may know, I'd be glad to host your patchs if you no longer want to update your site (which was not bad technically speaking, from an HTML point of view  )

Someone remembers me...*snif*
The problem is that even if I created some new patches, I wouldn't be able to preview them in the game, cause my new CPU's damn win XP doesn't support live 2k. Maybe I'll partition my hard disk and reinstall win 98.
