Is it possible, with NBA live 2001 ??

Postby Bob Yordan on Wed Feb 08, 2006 11:47 pm

Hi

I am new to this forum. :)

I have the NBA live 98, 99, 2000 & 2001, for PC.

In the 98 & 99 version it was possible to active a game so that
the game played both teams by itself, but I have not been able to
do this with 2000 or 2001. Is it possible to do that with some
parameter tweak etc??

Thanx in advance.

Cheers
Bob

I haven't played NBA Live 2001 for ages so I could be wrong, but as far as I remember you're able to start a game without assigning a controller to either team.

As far as I know it's been possible in every NBA Live. It's been a while since I played most of them though.

Thanx for the replies. :)

Hmm, I have not used my 2001 version that much. But I discovered that it is not possible to create customer teams in it?? :(

Did EA sport remove that feature at the end of the 90:s ???

I did create the max number of customer teams (almost 1000), in one save, in my 1998 live game and I was planing to convert them to a later version of the game with some kind of software that I would develop. :?

Well I will probably buy the 2006 anyway.

NBA Live 2000 was the last game to include the Custom Teams feature. Recent versions have allowed users to edit the game to include their own custom teams but of course that's not possible on the consoles and is more time consuming.

Hi

I bought the 2006 and I have also installed 2000 on my XP PC. :)

I will try to convert the 1998 to 2000 and see if it works.

Btw 2006 is really cool graphics compared to the other games I've got. :D

Thanx for the helpfull answers. :)
