Okay guys,

HEre is the deaL:

1. I downloaded Patman's cyberface tutorial.
2. I followed all of his instructions except for the first one---copying the entire /ART directory from the CD ROM onto the hard drive. I mean, I did this, but when I did, there was no "Archive" box to check. There eas just "Read Only" and "Hidden." So I unchecked the "Read Only Box" and left everything else alone.

3. I followed his patch instructions correctly (I chose to make a Marquis Estill patch). However, when I checked to see Estill in the game, his face was a solid color. NO face, just a brown circle--like he had a mask on. Then, when I checked on the player I got his headshape from (Shaquille O'Neal), my game suddenly crashed. My question is, does not having the "archive" option have anything to do with this problem? I followed the tutorial correctly, I think....also, I have a really new Dell, so maybe this has something to do with it--maybe my computer is too advanced for this game. Please help me. If we can fix this, I can crank out a bunch of patches really quick.

Okay, I fixed the first problem, but now I have a new problem.

I set out to make a cyberface for former University of Louisville guard Reece Gaines. I used Stacey Augmon as his headshape. However, after following Patman's tutorial step-by-step, I opened the game and discovered Gaines had Augmon's face and Augmon had the cyberface I created for Gaines. When I opened up the player.viv file, I clicked on Augmon and, wouldn't you know it, my cyberface I had created for Gaines was there. I could not find a 0REGAINE.fsh file though. What did I do wrong?

I suggest you for created players that instead importing their cyberface in players.viv the 0playername.fsh and its bin files shall be moved in the art\ingame\players\update folder.
