NBA Live 99 Problem With MJ.

How come Michael Jordan's name isn't in the game, but you can play as him but his last name is Player and I think his number's 99.

Licensing issues. Same reason he's not in any other NBA Live with the exceptions of NBA Live 2000-NBA Live 2004.

MJ is in Live 2001, I think , can't tell you about 2002 tho.

Anyway, true, MJ was too (let's say) smart with his name and wanted to take advantage of any opportunity, so anyone using his name on anything had to pay him.

Indeed he is - I meant from NBA Live 2000 to NBA Live 2004 he was included either as a Legend or active player.
