You can use the NBA Live 2003 Toolkit, which works 90% correctly with the Live 2000 rosters (Live 2003 toolkit requires MS Access 2000)

Then, browse the NLSC database to grab dbcommander and cdbf.

DBCommander is more "eye candy" (if I can ever call it like that) but it's shareware, cdbf is freeware but runs under dos, it's a pain in the butt to browse the database then.

Please note that with both softwares the datas will be provided in a "raw" format. Look at the players.dbf editing on the Live 2000 section to learn some useful things. I think that those software are OK if you want to make only 2 or 3 changes, but if you want to make a mega update it will be really painful.

(and I suggest that you to use my updated roster  )

Hope that will help!

Thanks for the roster!I got some other stuff from your site too(cyberfaces, courts, rosters etc)! They're great!

I tried using db commander and changed a few things of some players in file players.dbf but when i started game nothing changed!I changed battie's socks from 2 to 0!I did the same with wright and JO!And nothing changes! And when I re-open players.dbf with DBCommander stats go back to original!

thanks for the comments :)

If the changes didn't take effect, it may be because you forgot to re-load the roster once you're in the game

I just want to know if ther is a way to edit generated rookies in franchise mode!i want to change their numbers because they mostly have numers like 97,84,71 etc.Can they be changed?
I know that it is possible to change players' numbers in season mode because you have "edit player" available! But in franchise you don't have that option! Is there a way to change players' numbers in franchise mode?
