Intentional Fouls (Live 2000 Game Play)

Lads & Ladies,

I was under the impression that there existed a game command that allowed the NBA Live 2000 players/users to call for intentional fouls at the culmination of close contests. I observe the cpu-controlled teams utilizing this common strategy with regularity. But I am not finding that specific "intentional foul" strategy option among any of the user options while engaged in game play. Am I missing something?

I believe you can call for an intentional foul through playcalling, but if all else fails, the handcheck button should allow you to commit an intentional foul...or steal the ball, if you can get away with it.

Thanks, Andrew. I found the button in the strategy menu . . . not sure that it actually works, but the option exists. I'm probably better off following your advice.
