Hey yall, got a problem while running live2k... wondering if u guys have any suggestions to help it..
All along, live has been running fine, but then i created a new player named "Carmelo Anthony", then i ran the "unoquepasa" Carmelo Anthony patch, using the "HOME" look on him, and now wen i run live to play, it runs fine for like 5mins, then it starts lagging BIG TIME... like it almost freezes... i dunno wats up, i tried closing everything and running it and it still happens.....
any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. i think maybe i didnt create the player or didnt use the patch properly cos wen i go to "LIST" in the "Creat Player" mode, Carmelo Anthony isnt there.... i dunno .. plz help. =]

this is normal, when you install a cyberface, the .bat file changes the properties of the player so that he's no longer considered by the game as a created player. If this properties wasn't changed, the game would have crashed.
Else, I have no idea what can be the source of your problem

oiC .. i was wondering why that happened... and its pretty logical...
thanx ur help man.. u know if there is some way to actually delete the player, then re-create it? would i have to go into like the /arts/ingame/playerupdate part of the nba live directory to delete all of carmelo anthony's patch.....

well, first change Carmelo's properties in your roster so that he's back as a created player
with a dbf editor (like cdbf or even the live 2003 toolkit), change the properties for him :
ISCREATED T
ISROM F
If you don't wanna use and editor you can do it using a bat file. Create a bat file with the following lines :
blotch00 saves Anthony,Carmelo IR F
blotch00 saves Anthony,Carmelo IC T
then you only have to double click on the bat file.
Once you change the player's properties, go back in the game, go in the created players list and tada here's Carmelo again
Now you can delete it in the normal way
with a dbf editor (like cdbf or even the live 2003 toolkit), change the properties for him :

Alex, i tired doing the batch file thing, and it didnt work..
i typed exactly those two lines and put it into the Live file, and ran it..
it said "bad command".... HMMM
im hopeless at this stuff... im only good at playing argh...
