Dirtdog1- David's Charlotte logo

How do I put logo back together into game.
I've download Dirtdog1- David's Charlotte patch and edit the rectanglar "logo" within the chtmlogo.fsh file so that it has that 3D look like the original ones. But then I can't put it back together again using EA Graphics Editor!? The game simply crash when i try to view the logo. I thought I match up the setting well enough to make it work.
If Dirtdog1- David is reading, how did u do it, any ideas from anybody else?
