Practice in Franchise Mode

Hi,
I was wondering: does anyone know how to practice with your players from a Franchise? It would be nice to know how to practice with my rookies from this year's draft...

There used to be an off season patch around but i think that has gone offline, so i guess youll have to do it manually.

1 save your franchise, write down the slot number it is saved as (from now on i will refer to this as folder number 555)

2 go to nba live 2000/saves

3 copy a roster folder,(it doesnt matter which one as long as it is a roster file not a saved game or franchise) these will be called 001 002 etc

4 Paste the folder in the main /saves directory and rename it a number you will remember eg 999(must be 3 digits)

5 Open your franchise' saved folder (555)

6 copy the file players.dbf

7 open the folder you renamed (999) paste the players.dbf over the one in the folder

8 start the game and load the file in slot 999

This should mean you have all the rosters from the Franchise and will allow you to practice, play 1on1 exibitions preview playoffs etc
