I've checked the post regarding copying the players dbf to a rosters file, but will the players still have same 'ENVELOPES and will they develope the same as before?

sorry to be all questions, but how can i transfer stats of players into a new 25 year dynasty,
or just individual players, i'd like to compose an allstar team from my players of past years..

thanks!

- Load the game. (Do not load your franchise!)
- Save the roster. (Doesn't matter if it's default or what)
- Exit the game.
- Go to the saved folder of the the roster you just saved.
- Delete Player.dbf and Career.dbf of that folder.
- Copy the Player and Career DBF of your franchise to the folder of the saved roster.
- Load the game.
- Load the roster you saved before.
- Start a new franchise.

Disadvantages: the stat display from your previous franchise.
It will look something like this when you start a new one.

2022
2023
2024
2025
2000

Players from the future have travelled back in time!

thanks very much, thats awesome

i can now have my stats transferred as well, copying the career dbf, doh'!

thanks again, i guess travelllin back in time is a way cool way to think of it. from a different dimensional timeline, to save the franchise... :D

thanks again! :D

You should also copy the teams.dbf of your previous franchise to your new one. There are some stats/settings? in the teams.dbf that automatically adjusts itself based on the roster. You don't want a setting based on the default 2000 rosters being used by your team from the future.

All the rookies will all be younger than ur players by many many years

you gonna tell us how all of this goes?

Oh yeah, forgot about that.
You're supposed to edit the birthyears too. Use some mass dbf editor or the NBA Live 2000 Toolkit from the NLSC.

Subtract all ages by 25.

Thanks Googlebot for the tip.

And thank you, runthestreetz for bringing up that thought.
It's an interesting idea to resume a dynasty back from the future.
