NBA live 96 Player's Guide book...does it exist

In the back of the 96 Live instruction book (Genesis), there is an ad for a player's guide book. I've never seen anything else about this over the years. I'm guessing it was never released but I thought I'd check.

Interesting! It's the first I'm hearing of it after all these years, so I'm guessing it fell through, or was available in very limited quantities.

My money is on it never having seen the light of day. I suppose it's possible that it was extremely limited but you can usually find a pic, scan, or ebay listing these days. I would love to see what it looked like.
