To all XP users.....Dead End????

Fri Nov 21, 2003 5:09 am

THE FACTS:
 NBA Live 2000 doesn't run under XP with NVIDIA GeForce Video Card..
 Alexboy claims that the game runs fine with XP and ATI Video Card, but only after he updated his drivers via omagacorner.com..
 EA Sports Technicians e-mailed me saying that in no way NBA Live 2000 runs under Windows Xp..
 no communication with NVIDIA technicians is possible via Internet cause they simply don't have that kind of support...
 and finally, I tried to update my drivers(I have GeForce4 MX440 with AGP) and the game still doesn't play...

In order to put an end in that story and stop messing with our PC's I suggest that all NBA Live 2000 players read the above and whoever has the solution let's post it....so simple...
Hope that someone has all the answers......

Another solution is to do a dual boot and have both WIn98 and XP.

Indeed that's wrong. My NBA Live 2000 works fine under Windows XP, and that's the same for most of the users. In software mode, everything is fine (apart from the fact that it's ugly). It's the 3D mode that is hard to make work, with an ATI or a NVidia graphic card.

Btw, is it possible to run two video cards simultaneously on your computer? If that were so, I could re-install my old ATI rage 128 card and finally enjoy live 2000 with at least average graphics.
