new legends site??

hey guys...

i have made over 30 legends for live 2000 (a lot of help also came from JC, and eric lin whose faces ive borrowed)....these have well known legends as magic johnson and larry bird, all the way over to the obscurer legends such as world b. free and sidney wicks

i would love to release these patches on a new site...alexboom said he would make a live2000patches....if anyones even interested in this project let me know....for example here is some of my older work...(most i have now are much better)

if anyone is interested let me know...it would be useless of alex to create a site no one would visit...and i would love help creating the faces of the legends, because that is where i am at my weakest...i am excellent at the shoes, the socks, the jerseys and the shorts though...JC or James did a lot of the faces...(anybody's work that i used is credited in the .bat file)

hey i would love to copntribute to this project but i only own nbalive 2001, i was wondering if we could do this patch for that instead like i said i am 100 percent behind u on this, but i just dont have 00, so tell me what u think about doing it for live 01, ok thanx bye

hey skinny mo, your patches are nice but not too many people play nba live 2001 anymore. they have all moved onto nba live 2003 or stayed with live 2000. you should get live 2000 because it is easier to make patches for it or wait until 2004. i got my copy of live 2000 for just 7 dollars. and it would have been 2 dollars but there was a 5 dollar shipping and handling fee

I agree with JC, make the switch to 2000. The gameplay is better and easier to patch, not to mention you can make complete updates for every player.

Convert some of those off the hook And1 players.

I was just wondering if somebody here can patch the game's sound and music file? Is it possible guys? and if it is possible can you please release the NBA's actual sound and music theme patches. (We are the Champions by Queen or The Final Countdown or the intro music played by the Chicago Bulls during the era of Michael Jordan... :wink:

I vote yes,yes for the legends site. That would be great if it can happen. It seems like there are a lot of people who all patch the same players, if someone did the legends they would be the only one. Please do more legends. There are patches for almost all the new players and current players, but no patches for guys like: George Mikan, Artis Gilmore, etc. These players and all the other legends on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th teams should and need to be done. Please someone step up. I would but I don't know how. Good Luck!

funny you should mention it jeeball...james and i made both george mikan AND artis gilmore lol...artis gilmore is the one from the kentucky colonels though...any requests for him to wear a different jersey? i just personally like any of the aba jerseys because they're more colorful

than his spurs jersey

but yeah im waiting for alex to let me know or not if hes going to make a legends site...i finished patching the whole 80s and 70s all star teams today..complete with jerseys, socks, bands, shoes, everything...so if you guys want this, its up to alexboom...

patrixxx....each legend will come with his own individual jersey, socks, shoes, and custom bands and//or tattoos...if you dont understand what i mean, find Bru's site...look for dominique, and mcadoo...you'll see what i mean

in case geocities was being its usual moronic self...heres the picture of the previews of the legends ive made...it has new people in it as well but the pictures are outdated, they are all beta version, all patches have been improved, so no worries

I'll be on holidays from december 19 to january 10, so in this period if legend site is still not uploaded i'll be able to do it, at last

can you give us an exact answer? if you can't make the legends site, we can understand since you have so much work. but we have waited months for this site and its still not up. if you simply can't make the site, tell us and matt and i might start our own site to take the work off of your hands. if you are going to make it, please get the site up with some working downloads if you can. :lol:

You guys should update the NLSC legends roster for Live 2000 as part of the launch. It still needs the 2001-2003 champs.

Alex, Yes; I have a few legend patches to send you................ I think this was more Matt and James idea; I don't know what they have waiting to upload?
I know that Matt has over a hundred old school and legend faces, including some of mine with the jerseys inserted into the .fsh file. This is fine, but the game will crash if you go to the edit screen, so there should be a 2nd download for the patch without the jersey?
I spoke to Matt a couple of months ago, and told him that it was Okay to add the jersey to my patches as long as there was also a section that the patches could also be downloaded without the jersey intact. The reason for this is most people will use the face in one of the old school rosters, and there will already be a jersey for that team.

errrrr i agree with you but in terms of webspace we will run short very very very soon if we proceed like this

last solution : providing your cyberfaces for download, and in another parth the player jersey alone, and writing a FAQ explaining how to add the customized jersey
