Partial update the roster

I have always played a custom team with custom players vs. current NBA players. When I download the current roster each season, I loose my custom team and it's players.

Is there a way I can download current rosters and intergrate my custom team? Or do I have to set up my custom team and players each time? Is there some dbf I can mod or copy?

Sorry, the only non-technical/editing solution is to create the team again every time. However, if you can use DB Commander, you can import data between tables. Just make sure you change the PLAYERIDs for any players you create for the team to 2000 and so on, out of range of the created players in the current roster update. This way, there will be no duplicate PLAYERIDs when you import.
