Starting year

Hi,

Does someone know a way to change the starting season from 99-00 to 02-03 without losing 3 years of franchise?
It's a bit odd see players drafted today playing in 1999 and having stats for that season...
Some of the youngest players should be playing on the playground at that time...

I always wondered if this could be done, but i don't think so because i remember reading a while back when someone created an updated schedule for 2001, he mentioned that the day of the year, eg. monday June 12th of 1999 would have to be Monday June 12th of 2001............. because the game would not allow you to change the day of the week in a certain year. So if this is true you probably can't change the years.

Yeah, I knew that was a long shot...
After almost 4 years since its publishing, a patch would already be available somewhere, and i never find one.

I've looked into it, and haven't been able to figure out how to do it. A shame, because I'd also have liked to change it for throwback roster patches, so you could start a Franchise "earlier".

I though a solution could be that we use the mega modifier to change all player's year of birth so 50's or 03's players have their real age (but not their real birthdate ) at the beginning of a franchise.
